Precious Public Partners
Culture Montréal receives financial support from the following organizations and public institutions:
Le ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec
As the Regional Council of Culture for Montréal, Culture Montréal receives annual support from the ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec. The MCC supports culture and the development of communications in Quebec in addition to contributing to their distribution abroad.
La Ville de Montréal
Over the years, the city has formed many partnerships with cultural organizations as part of its mission to develop audiences throughout the city, support intercultural arts, pursue cultural innovations and contribute to the growth of the Arts in Montréal. These partnerships make arts and culture more accessible to Montrealers. Some are financed by the Entente sur le développement culturel de Montréal between the ministère de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition feminine and the Ville de Montreal 2008-2011.
La Conférence régionale des élus de Montréal
The Conférence régionale des élus de Montréal (CRÉ) gathers political and socio-economic leaders and mandates them to support the development of Montreal Island through dialog and acting as the privileged ambassador to the government in regards to regional development of its territory.
The CRÉ is involved in several sectors: knowledge and culture, economic, social and urban development and citizen participation.
Le Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec
The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec is a government corporation whose mission is to support artistic and literary research and creation, experimentation, production and distribution in the realms of the visual arts, arts and crafts, literature, the performing arts, multidisciplinary arts, media arts, and architectural research throughout Québec.
